If you are seeking Muslim couples therapy, marriage counselling or family therapy, Azra Therapy offers a confidential, compassionate space where your relationship, faith and Islamic values are respected. Whether you are experiencing communication difficulties, trust issues, emotional distance, recurring conflict, challenges with in-laws or concerns about rebuilding intimacy, I support couples in exploring these difficulties and developing healthier ways of relating.
I also work with individuals and families navigating relationship and communication challenges (please enquire for more information).
My approach draws on the Gottman Method, alongside specialist training with an Islamic-aligned psychotherapy organisation in the USA, where I have become certified to Work with Muslim Families, I have worked on the Practical Frameworks of Islamic Law for Muslim Individuals and Couples. This has deepened my understanding of the intersection between Islamic perspectives, family life and therapeutic practice, enabling me to offer culturally and faith-sensitive support.
My beliefs reinforce my commitment to honesty and compassion as I am also accountable to Allah (swt). I consider impartiality essential in couples and family therapy, so that all parties feel heard and understood. My role is not to take sides, but to create a balanced therapeutic space where you can work towards greater understanding and a stronger relationship.

I am regulated and committed to working in accordance with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), upholding professional standards and ethical practie.
